My heart BLEEDS for Slovenia right now, with their beautiful elven/fairy goal dance, to walk off the pitch & be told the US scores at the death, knocking them out. Another amazing roller coaster ride in Group C. I am a HUSK!

So, just as I was aboot

To start the toughest part of my walk home, the HILL!, a Walnut Creek cop coming towards me in his car, pulled over to talk. I took out an earbud & feared the worst, naturally. He sed, "You've got nerve wearing that England jersey, when that's the US' first opponent in the World Cup." I relaxed & told him that despite the jersey, I supported the US side. It was an awesome, unexpected moment.
